TANCA(Tamil Nadu Common Admissions) 2010 counseling date will be available shortly .....It expected to be in 2nd week of this month.

TANCA(Tamil Nadu Common Admissions) 2010 ranking will also be available soon on the university website. The ranking of non-GATE i.e TANCET  will be separate from GATE student ranking ....but it seems the will not give ranking for GATE qualified students .....

The Counselling for Tamil Nadu Common Admissions 2010 is scheduled as given below. Individual communications are being sent to candidates calling them to appear for counselling. Eligible candidates who have applied for Tamil Nadu Common Admissions (TANCA) 2010 may appear for counselling at Examination Centre, Anna University Chennai, Chennai – 25 along with their original certificates for verification, irrespective of the receipt of individual communication.

Candidates are advised to be present One and half hour before the start of the counselling session.

Candidates attending counselling should make an initial payment of Rs.5300/- for General (Rs.1150/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu) by DD / Cash at the time of counselling at the bank counter available in the counselling centre for registration. The DD should be drawn in favour of The Director (Admissions), Anna University Chennai, payable at Chennai. The initial payment of Rs.5000/- or Rs.1000/- only will be adjusted towards tuition fee at the time of admission in the respective institutions.

Important Note: More number of candidates will be called for counselling than the available seats anticipating absenteeism.
